Armenian football team of Brazil to also participate in Armenian Genocide commemoration events

The”Young Armenian Fedainer” football team will pay tribute to the innocent victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide near the Armenian Genocide memorial after a Divine Liturgy at the Armenian Church in Brazil on April 22.

Brazilian-Armenian Grigor Mkhitaryan wins Fortaleza Tournament

In the 2nd Brazilian Fortaleza Open Chess Tournament, grosmeister Grigor Mkhitaryan scored 6 out of the possible 7 points and won first prize. Grosmeisters Kubas (Paraguay), Veskovi and El Debs (Brazil) also scored that many points, but they were behind the Armenian grosmeister’s additional indicator.
