“Armenian Genocide” monograph released in Bucharest

The Political Science Association of Armenia reports the recent release of the monograph “Armenian Genocide” by highly distinguished genocide expert, correspondent member of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, doctor of historical sciences, Professor Nikolay Hovhannisyan in Romania. The monograph was translated from French to Romanian by sisters Taguhi and Madeleyn Karakashyan (Genocidul Armean, Bucaresti, 2012, 112 pp.).

First step of Turkey’s “new” policy on Diaspora Armenians

Turkish presses, including Istanbul’s Marmara Daily, report information regarding a meeting called “Armenian-Turk Reconciliation” held in Washington on April 12. The presses present the meeting as the first step in Turkey’s policy to find Armenians in favor of the establishment of dialogue with Turks in the United States and establish dialogue with them”.

Founder of Tala jewels not known in the Homeland

The creator and designer of golden items and gifts for the Royal Palace of Iran, the personal jeweler for Iran’s last Shah Mohammad Rza Pehlevi, founder of Tala Jewelry (tala means "gold" in Persian) spanning half a century, Lemuel Avetian passed away recently. He was 80 years old.
