You won’t see him on the covers of glamorous magazines, and he doesn’t want to “be on television” in any way. He always expresses his civic stance, whether it regards the current realities or modern Armenian music.” This is how top song expert Suren Aramyan once described the singer. Coming on to the music scene in the 1980s, singer Artur Ispiryan quickly became one of the most beloved and famous singers. That is the reason why no modern music concert was held without Artur Ispiryan in the 1980s and 90s. Everyone listened with pleasure and waited impatiently for his covers of famous foreign songs. Artur has even recorded an entire album of his covers of Stevie Wonder’s songs. “Hayern Aysor”’s cultural commentator sat down for an interview with the well-known singer.
